Do you recognize this man?

One of the projects American Legacies supports it the purchase of family photographs that are sold or thrown away after the death of elderly individuals.

In purchasing this images, we attempt to find distant relatives that would like this images.

The photo shown above was obtained at an auction with letters and other documents dated from 1864 to the 1940’s. One name on many of the envelopes is Roy Finch, Route #3, Monroe City, MO. We believe he was born on Jan. 4, 1895.
We also have a paper with the names:
Bernadine Finch, b. 1908

Hazel B. Finch, b. 1905
Edna Clare Finch, b. 1901
and others including a document dated 1907 and showing Lorenzo D. Finch as receiving a War pension in the amount of $20 per month.
