This year, American Legacies Org has arranged to sponsor a FREE Thanksgiving Meal to EVERYONE within a driving range of Owensboro KY.
We are collaborating with the Greater Vision Baptist Church, 4733 Sutherland Road, Owensboro, KY., in order to provide a traditional Holiday meal with Turkey, Ham, and all the sides.
American Legacies Org will be providing the food and the ladies from the church have volunteered to prepare and serve it.
The meal will be served on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025. The church has asked that you show up by 10:30 AM to join them for a service and prayer, prior to dining.
So, please come join us for a holiday meal that can be shared with others and help give thanks for all of the wonderful blessings God has bestowed on this country, the local community and His followers.
If anyone would like to contribute to the cost of the food, you can use the DONATION page on our website and any contributions will be greatly appreciated.
We would also like to invite all of the Senior Citizens within a reasonable driving range of Grandview, Indiana to join us on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025 for a FREE Christmas Dinner, complete with FREE Prizes for the most festive costumes, Great old Christmas Music and lots of caring individuals willing to talk with you and celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
It will be held at the Grandview Civic Center, 1301 N. Main St., Grandview Indiana 47615. We will start serving at 11:00 AM.
In addition to financial donations to help pay for the food, we also need volunteers to assist us with the cooking and/or serving of the food.
We would also like volunteers willing to simply sit with some of the Senior Citizens and talk with them about their life, memories and any other topics, simply to share some love and compassion with them. This gesture can make a world of difference in their lives, on a day that otherwise might have been very depressing.
