1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine
Directions:
Pour pie filling in 9x12 baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 box dry cake mix over pie filling.

John S. Harned Sr. was born in Virginia in 1812, and began teaching school in Washington county at the age of 17 years. He surveyed the town of Canton, using a grapevine as a rule.

A Typical Thanksgiving Day
For Mark Braziel and family 50 years ago
We would plan and look forward to Thanksgiving Day for a week or two.
On Thanksgiving Day, we got up early and headed out to some of our families house. Sometimes we went to our parents, sometimes to Viola’s sisters or to the home of Viola and myself.

A house is a house unless its your Grandmas house then its special.
I know because I have childhood memories of my Grandmas special house in a German neighborhood now known as Wrigleyville, two blocks from Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.
